For basic inquiries we provide an online guide to help people with council and VCAT objections. It contains advice about grounds of objection to planning applications, how to deal with councils, making an appeal to VCAT, etc.

We don't have the resources to help every resident with their planning problems (particularly given how many problems 'Planning' in Victoria is currently creating!), but we can hopefully put you in touch with a local community group that can help (contact us). If you are involved with a local community group and your group needs assistance, please contact us as well!

Our aim is to improve planning legislation and the way it is implemented so that the community doesn't have to keep fighting so many individual battles - battles that should not be necessary in a real democracy where the government listens to the community.
